The Art of Deception (Part 4)
Introduction
Satan’s plan to seduce the world has always been rooted in deception. In this fourth part, we will examine the third and most insidious prong of his scheme, then tie it together with the others to understand our current circumstance. His singular purpose would be carried out with three initiatives. They were:
1. To convince people he and his angels did not exist.
2. To control human minds through hypnosis and mysticism.
3. To destroy the Bible—without burning it.
The execrable chaos in our present world are the fruits of his plan. There are so many voices screaming this and yelling that at each other, but no one seems to be listening to the only voice that matters – God’s. In our efforts to heal ourselves we’ve created placebos of false religions and political myths that mask our pain but that cannot heal our trauma. Those myths and our religions are impotent because they teach the traditions of men. God, Himself, asked us:
“But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” (Matthew 15:3-4, 6-9 KJV)
Paul, the Apostle, continued:
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools… who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.” (Romans 1:22–25 KJV)
The Assault on Creation
Successful rollout of initiatives one and two laid the groundwork for implementation of initiative three - to destroy the Bible without burning it. This supreme subterfuge required Satan to strike at the heart of God’s creation—in the beginning. God created the earth and man in six days and rested on the seventh (Genesis 1:1, 27; 2:1–3). That truth had to be subverted, so Satan created a new narrative and personally tutored its first human disciple.
On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life, was published by Charles Darwin in 1859 and it was an instant bestseller. Its prescient title revealed Satan’s end time plan for mankind.
He would have humanity replace God’s creation document with his own and then pit one ethnic group against another for survival. In the theory of evolution, fiction replaced fact and created a whole new religion to support it.
These are the implicit tenets of that religion:
- The universe created itself.
- Man evolved from a primordial soup.
- Certain men will continue to evolve into godhood through luck and their own creative genius.
Based on what Darwin observed voyaging upon the HMS Beagle, the theory seemed rational and acceptable. However, racial prejudice tainted his observations and nullified his thesis, still Satan used suggestion to plant the lie firmly in men’s minds. Darwin’s deception spread to other sciences until the entire European body academic became intoxicated with its poison. That poison has caused the fever and death throes we are experiencing in American politics and life today.
The Birth of False Sciences
Other false sciences sprouted from this root of lies. Eugenics was the most virulent. Not surprisingly, America was the flag bearer of the eugenics parade. She built myths around her material success and attributed her wealth to industry and cunning, while celebrating genocide and chattel slavery as spoils of the fittest.
The rest of the world marched to America’s drumbeat with Nazi Germany comprising the infantry and artillery battalions. Germany’s cruelty and genocide, although atrocious, did not rival America’s heinous crimes in number or duration. It only seems so because Germany lost the war and thus the propaganda battle. If Germany had won, it would simply have finished what America had so effectively started. After all, ethnic Germans were the second largest immigrant group next to the British in early America.
The seeds of eugenics blossomed into the poisonous tree of modern-day white supremacy racism. Of course, the practice and perfection of white supremacy racism was fomented in chattel slavery which was centuries old by the time of Darwin’s book. But Darwin’s lie gave white supremacy racism scientific credence and philosophical authority. European scholars used it as the scaffolding to hang every racist and bigoted idea they could imagine, and they had prolific and sadistic imaginations! The theory swept around the world in a frenzy as scientists looked for a dubious missing link. Africans Sarah Baartman and Ota Benga were used to support European pseudoscience. I share the following from my research.
Ota Benga was portrayed as a “missing link” between apes and humans. In September 1906, he was ex hibited inside the Bronx Zoo’s Monkey House alongside an orangutan named Dohong. A sign listed his age, height, weight, and origin. This display was promoted by eugenicist Madison Grant and zoo director William Hornaday as proof of racial hierarchy. Satan smiled as men carried out this profane act. His plan worked without menunderstanding its true intent and potential to destroy both victim and victimizer. In their blind prejudice, white men thought they were serving God. Christ had warned:
“They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:2-3 ESV
How we treat the least among us reflects how we treat Christ. That principle was ignored in Ota Benga’s case and sin was added to sin. Satan’s reasoning was straightway, to find the missing link would provide undeniable evidence of his narrative, even the attempt would accomplish the end. If man created himself, then his obligation is only to himself. Thus, God is manufactured in man’s image and by proxy Satan is worshipped! Whatever man does to ensure his survival is allowable if indeed the fittest do survive.
For those who can understand, this is the clear purpose of Darwin’s work – to make man, God. Man does not need God; he is God! White men, by their current standing in the world at that point in time, were obviously the fittest and the rightful heirs to godship, validating the theory and their racism.
The Idol of Whiteness
The prosaic application of Darwin’s lie is the two-ton white elephant sitting in America’s living room—white supremacy—yet most people are blind to its odorous presence. Satan’s deception, recited by Darwin, hierarchizes, validates, and normalizes the social positions of two ethnic groups—White and Black. It polarizes these groups, then decrees whiteness with favor and eternal blessing while relegating blackness to disfavor and eternal cursing.
Evolutionary theory becomes both a false science and a false religion granting privilege on earth and salvation in heaven. Doubt me? Most Christians, the world over, consider it near blasphemy to suggest that Christ was not blonde-haired and blue-eyed. In fact, a group of American Hebrew Israelites recently visiting Nairobi were stoned and tear-gassed for suggesting that Christ was a Black man!
Yet, archaeology and history testify that Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew (Taylor, What Did Jesus Look Like?; BBC, “What Did Jesus Really Look Like?”, 2015). When truth is preferred to a lie, Satan does a victory lap. Satan’s lie has infiltrated every gene in humanity, Black and White, and permeates every waking thought, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Satan has caused this counterfeit Christianity to be accepted as what Christ lived and taught. Because the Bible is “burned” in the minds of men—its truth replaced with the commandments of men—our world worships a false Christ, one that preaches politics not salvation, and teaches self-love rather than self-sacrifice. It builds one lie upon the one before it, one fiction buttressing the next, until the truth looks so foreign that it becomes inscrutable and offensive.
This phenomenon explains how good Christians can support evil people and policies yet see no hypocrisy in their reasoning and actions. It condones accepting men’s words while excusing the fruits of their actions. Satan designed his three-point plan to do exactly this.
For centuries Black American’s experienced this hypocrisy as we grappled with White Christianity and its profession of brotherly love, yet endured its worst efforts to deny our humanity and profit from our suffering. Honestly, I have yet to reconcile this discordance of White American Christian belief and action. Perhaps I never will.
When the Bible is burned, man made in the image of God, is burned with it. Satan’s hypnosis suggests, that neither he or God exists, which allows men to do as they darn well, please. In their minds, there is no right or wrong, only survival, and that of the fittest. Our world has reached Satan’s destination point. Mission accomplished!
The Final Deception and Call to Return
The time has come to renounce the deceptions of Darwin, eugenics, white supremacy, and counterfeit Christianity. Return to the Word of God. Worship the Creator, not the creature. Refuse the Babel of religious-political lies and the myth of man as God. Only then will we see through the art of deception and walk in the light of truth.
Conclusion
We stand at the precipice of destiny. The threefold deception has done its work—first by erasing Satan’s existence, then by enthroning man as God, and finally by burning the Bible from the minds of men...
But this is the hour of unveiling. The Babel of man’s pride is crumbling, and the voice of the Creator still thunders above the chaos: “Return to Me.”
Truth has not perished. It is waiting to be proclaimed. And when we return to the Word of God—whole, undiluted, and unashamed—we will finally see through the art of deception...
